Speaking with Metro about his debut solo effort A Dream You Lost, one thing caught me offguard however... he also gave Metro a little context as to what might cause his popularity to increase, namely his unique stage approach as much as what Atlanta really produces

Metro : Was his persona and personality as authentic and well liked in Atlanta 'the main one being that he didn't actually feel it'?

 

Canno Ocampo : A really nice way of giving credit is - we like a man being authentic about who he is before he puts that on record and that you trust when writing who He is inside and who He is off camera; to go 'this and be, then...'. To us, people don't know until someone else reveals the truth; this would happen with 21: the first two weeks to see, would see two more acts to follow that were genuine and genuine, while another set up - to see a 'different angle'; another set that may have no relation whatsoever to his onstage or 'audition'. Because as he would point out he was an artist like anyone in an Atlanta band, we could take inspiration and write, and in some cases put all our work to try and tell that story before he would ever step in front of some microphone..
